POSITION SUMMARY:
Position is a leadership role to manage a portfolio of affordable housing assets requiring special attention due to operational challenges, capital restructuring opportunities, dispositions, and resyndications. This is a key position to demonstrate tangible results within a large portfolio.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monthly evaluation of the entire portfolio in search of opportunities to improve performance of the assets
- Work with operational team to evaluate and set strategic direction on the watch list portfolio
- Evaluate and implement year 15 strategy on all assets outside the tax credit period
- Implement disposition strategy on select assets
- Evaluate and implement recapitalizations on assets
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- 4-year degree required
- Advanced degree and/or finance or real estate certifications preferred (e.g. MBA, CFA, CPA, HCCP, CPM, CHAM, etc.)
- Experience using quantitative analytical tools desirable
- 5 to 10 years' multi-family experience required
- Section 42 experience preferred
- On-site experience preferred
- Ability to use Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint required
